Prerequisite: Previous Attunement to Reiki II. Participants who have not been trained in Mark’s previous classes at Rising Phoenix will need to show a certificate of attunement to Reiki II to participate in the class.

Mark Elliott Newman is a registered nurse with over 50 years of experience in psychiatric-mental health nursing and alternative healing. He is certified as a Reiki Master Teacher in the Usui Shiki Ryoho tradition and has taught all levels of Reiki at Desert Song Yoga, the City of Peoria, Banner Thunderbird Medical Center, and Rising Phoenix Spiritualist Church and Metaphysical Community. In addition to Reiki, Mark has studied Pranic Healing, Therapeutic Touch—the Krieger/Kunz model, and the Schreiber System of Energetic Healing.
Mark is also certified as a Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and has completed training in clinical hypnotherapy with the Atwood Institute. He also graduated from Southwest Institute of Healing Arts’ life coaching program and maintains a private practice as a spiritual life coach. Mark holds degrees in nursing, psychology, theology, and metaphysical science.
